Svetlana Rabey graduated from Parsons School of Design with a Bachelor’s in Fine Art, taking her studies both in New York and Paris.  She also studied art history at The American University of Paris.

Her work has been featured in group exhibitions at The Painting Center; Cheryl Hazan Gallery; 440 Gallery; Aljira: A Center for Contemporary Art; The Barbara Walters Gallery of Sarah Lawrence College; Smack Mellon; and The School of Visual Arts Gallery.

She has been awarded residencies at Chashama; The Marie Walsh Sharp Art Foundation; The School of Visual Arts; and The Cooper Union; and a Fellowship from The New York Foundation for the Arts.

Rabey lives and works in New York City.
